SUGGESTED ITEMS

We use ZipLock bags to pack foods/liquids  that may leak. Soldiers use ZipLock bags to help keep wallets and personal items dry plus they help keep the sand out.

 

We will NOT mail the following items: pork products, alcohol, aerosol cans, tobacco, cigarette lighters, pornography.

 

We will not refuse pork products or aerosol cans as those hospitalized stateside can make use of them.

 

While we accept chocolate based items they will not be mailed during the months of April - October.

 

The list above is just a suggested list. Have fun shopping .

 

We do not recommend home baked goods due to their short life span.

Be creative, have your group select just one item on the list such as black socks and collect only black socks. Collect items from just one group or collect any items on the list. Have children draw patriotic pictures or write letters to send to the soldiers.  One person can make a difference and that one person can be YOU.
